How to make a Country flags tier list
- Open the loaded board. The flags are already in the unranked pool, one picture per country, with the name on the tile. You do not upload a zip of SVGs and you do not type 199 names. Delete any you do not want before you start ranking.
- Name the question in the title. Design, history, and "where I would live" are three lists. A simple tricolor can be S on design and C on history. The rows cannot hold both without lying about one of them.
- Cut the set if 199 is too many. Keep a continent, a sports federation, or the countries you have actually visited. A finished short list is a better picture than an unfinished world.
- Export the picture. Download a PNG for the thread. Publishing gives people a link they can remix without touching your ranking.
What you can do
- 199 flags already loaded, so the first minute is ranking rather than importing files.
- Native-aspect pictures, not padded squares, so Switzerland stays square and Nepal stays a double pennon.
- Names on the tiles, because two red-and-white flags are not distinguishable at 70 pixels.

Common questions
How many flags are on the board?
199. UN members plus Vatican, Palestine, Taiwan, Kosovo, Cook Islands and Niue. Delete any you do not want. Add any we did not include.
Are the flag pictures official?
They are public-domain flag files (Wikimedia Commons and two archived CIA Factbook drawings). They are not issued by this site, and a ranking is not a political statement.
Why is Nepal a different shape?
Because that is the flag. The editor keeps each picture's own aspect ratio inside the tile instead of stretching it to a square.
Can I add more flags?
Yes. Upload a picture or type a name. The loaded set is a start, not a lock.
Do I need an account?
Not to make or export. Publishing a public page needs an account.
