K-pop tier list templates

A K-pop tier list maker for one discography, one generation, or a year of title tracks. Add photos or names, drag them into S through F, and keep the set small enough that the picture is an opinion rather than a census.

Also known as: kpop tier list, k-pop group ranking, kpop song tier list, kpop discography ranking.

What people usually rank

A K-pop list that tries to include every group at once is a census. Rank a generation, a company, or one discography.

  • One group's discography, which is the list that actually gets finished.
  • A generation, or a company's current roster.
  • Title tracks from one year, dated.
  • A single comeback's b-sides, which is small and mean.
  • Fashion or stages, which is an image list and should look like one.

How to make a K-pop tier list

  1. Cut the set. One group's songs, one generation of groups, or last year's title tracks. "Every K-pop group" is how a list becomes a spreadsheet nobody reads.
  2. Add photos or titles. Album art for a discography, group photos for a roster, text if you want it done on the train. A short description for the year or the album keeps two similar titles apart.
  3. Rank one thing. Songs, groups, or visuals. A group in S because of a discography and F because of a recent stage is two lists. The rows cannot hold both.
  4. Export the picture. PNG for the group chat. Publish a link if you want the fandom to remix it, which they will.

What you can do

  • A discography-sized set (a dozen to forty songs) stays readable as one picture.
  • Album art, photos, or text, including mixed boards.
  • Per-entry descriptions for the year, the album, or the era.
  • Rows you can rename to the joke the fandom already uses.
  • Works on a phone.
  • PNG export, no account, nothing drawn over the art.

Make your own tier list

One discography

The honest "all their songs" list. Title tracks and b-sides on the same board, or split them if the argument is really about singles.

A generation of groups

A closed roster. Say which generation, or the comments will invent a fourth one.

A year of title tracks

Date it. Next year it is a time capsule, which is the point.

Stages and looks

An image list. The placement is about a picture, so the entries should be pictures.

Common questions

Can I rank every group?

You can add as many as you like. A generation, a company, or a year will get finished. An "every group" board is a census.

Songs or groups?

Pick one per board. A group-level placement and a song-level placement are different arguments and they fight on the same rows.

Is this an official K-pop product?

No. Group and company names are trademarks of their owners. This is a blank ranking board you fill yourself.

Can I use official photos?

Use images you have the right to use. The maker does not ship a photo catalog.

Do I need an account?

Not to make or export. Publishing a public page needs an account.
