How to make a NFL tier list
- Name the season in the title. An undated NFL list is three arguments at once: this year, last year, and all time. Put the year in the title, or write "all time" if that is actually the question, before you place a single team.
- Start from the 32, or cut the set. The franchise names are already in the unranked pool as team-colored text tiles. We do not ship logos. Add a mark you have the right to use, or leave them as names. A quarterback list and a draft class are separate boards you type yourself.
- Rank one question. Who would win next week, who has the better future, and who has the better history are three boards. If a team sits in S on one of those and F on another, you are looking at the wrong row labels, not a paradox.
- Export it before the game starts. Download a PNG for the chat. Publishing gives people a link they can remix after the result, which is the whole point of a list that will be wrong by Monday.
What you can do
- Thirty two slots is a comfortable board: enough for every franchise, not so many that the picture is unreadable.
- The 32 names open as team-colored tiles, no logos. Add a mark you have the right to use if you want pictures.
- Rename the rows to the actual question: this season, all time, uniforms, quarterbacks.
- Reorder inside a row, because AFC West arguments are really about order inside A, not about S versus F.

A QB list does not belong on the franchise board. Give it its own rows so a bad team with a good passer is not a category error.
Draft class
Small, mean, and finished in one sitting. Text entries are enough; the names are the content.
Uniforms and stadiums
The argument that does not care who won. Image tiers do the work, because these lists are about how a thing looks.

Can I rank all 32 teams?
Yes. The 32 names are already on the board when you open this page. Drag them into the rows. Logos are optional and you supply them.
Should I date the list?
Yes if it is about the current season. An undated "NFL tier list" is read as all-time by half the room and as this week by the other half.
Is this an official NFL product?
No. The NFL and team names are trademarks of their owners. This is a blank ranking board you fill yourself.
Can other people edit my list?
Not the original. If you publish it, anyone can open a copy and move the teams. Your published list stays as you left it until you edit it.
Do I need an account?
Not to make or export. Publishing to a public page is the one step that needs an account.
