Marvel tier list templates

A Marvel tier list maker for MCU films, a saga, a team or a show. Add posters or names, drag them into S through F, and keep the set to a saga so the picture is an opinion rather than a database of every character ever licensed.

Also known as: mcu tier list, marvel movie ranking, avengers tier list maker, marvel character ranking.

What people usually rank

An MCU film list is finishable. "Every Marvel character" is not. Cut to a saga, a show, or a team.

  • MCU films, in release order or ranked, which is the default board.
  • A single saga (Infinity, Multiverse) so the picture stays short.
  • A team (Avengers, X-Men, Guardians) as a character list.
  • A show's season, which is small enough to finish that night.
  • Comic runs or covers, which is a different company of arguments and should say so.

How to make a Marvel tier list

  1. Films, or characters, not both. A film can be S and a character in it can be C. Those placements cannot share a row. Pick a film board or a character board and name it.
  2. Cut the roster to a saga or a team. The MCU film list is finishable. Every Marvel character ever is not. Avengers, X-Men, one show, or one saga. Put the rest on a second board.
  3. Add posters or names. Posters for films, character art for a team, text if you want it done before the credits finish. A year on each film stops the similarly graded ones from blending.
  4. Export the picture. PNG for the group chat. Publish a link if you want the remix after the next release moves three films.

What you can do

  • A saga-sized film set (a dozen to twenty five) stays readable as one picture.
  • Posters, character art, or text.
  • Per-entry years and notes, so a character who changed between films stays one entry with a comment rather than two confusing pictures.
  • Rows you can rename to the argument ("rewatch / once / never again").
  • Works on a phone on the sofa.
  • PNG export, no account, nothing drawn over the posters.

Make your own tier list

MCU films

The default. Release order as the starting pool, then rank. Cut to a saga if the full list is too long for the picture you want.

One team

Avengers, Guardians, X-Men. A character list with a closed roster.

One show

A season of episodes, or that show's cast. Small enough to finish the night you watch it.

Comics, separately

Say so in the title. A comic-run list and an MCU list are not the same company of opinions, even when the names match.

Common questions

Films or characters?

Pick one per board. A film placement and a character placement are different arguments and they fight on the same rows.

Can I include X-Men, Fantastic Four, or Sony films?

Yes if the title says so. An "MCU" list that sneaks them in is how the comments become a continuity lecture.

Is this an official Marvel product?

No. Marvel is a trademark of its owner. This is a blank ranking board you fill yourself.

Do I need poster images?

No. Text titles are enough. Posters help a film list read at a glance.

Do I need an account?

Not to make or export. Publishing a public page needs an account.
